CNC Process Engineer
Job DescriptionCNC Process EngineerResponsibilities:Develop and optimize machining processes for multi-axis CNC (3-5 axis, Swiss, mill-turn)Create and troubleshoot CNC programs using CAM software (Mastercam, PartMaker or similar)Design workholding, tooling, and machining strategies for new and existing partsSupport quoting with cycle time estimates, tooling requirements, and cost inputsDrive process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce scrap, and improve qualityCollaborate with machinists, inspection, and production teams to ensure successful part executionInterface with customers and vendors on technical requirements, materials, and secondary processes (heat treat, anodizing, grinding)Qualifications:Strong background in CNC process engineering within a machine shop environmentExperience with multi-axis machining, including Swiss and mill-turn applicationsProficient in CAM programming and interpreting complex prints/modelsKnowledge of tooling, fixturing, and secondary operationsSolid understanding of metrology, tolerances, and process capabilityAbility to troubleshoot machining and process-related issues on the floorDegree in Engineering or equivalent hands-on experience in CNC programming/process developmentMust be eligible to work in the United States without restriction and without the need for current or future sponsorship.Resumes can be confidentially sent to tonya.grimes@gogpac.com or call direct at (614) 324-8971.
