Payroll Analyst

Required Skills & Experience• Payroll processing and calculation experience- 5+ years desired• Thorough knowledge of all payroll processes, policies, and procedures; knowledge of organization-specific computer application programs. Experience and proficiency in PeopleSoft HCM.• Strong working knowledge of payroll tax regulations, specifically FICA rules and exemptions• Strong cross functional collaboration skills• Experience with large scale data analytics, reconciliations, and audits• Experience with query tools and reporting• Strong reporting and documentation skillsJob DescriptionInsight Global is looking for a Payroll Analyst. This role is responsible for executing and supporting end-to-end payroll processing in full compliance with policies and procedures. Responsibilities include managing payroll calculations, validations, and reconciliations with a high degree of accuracy, as well as, analyzing large datasets to support audits, compliance reviews, and reporting needs. This person will also work towards developing, running, and maintaining queries and reports to support payroll operations and decision-making. The role applies critical judgment in defining system requirements, implementing payroll-related policies, and identifying opportunities to streamline and improve current processes. Success in this position requires close cross-functional collaboration with multiple teams, the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, flexibility in responding to changing business needs, and a strategic mindset aligned with the mission and organizational priorities, supported by thorough documentation of processes, findings, and outcomes.
