Food safety, regulatory compliance, andoperational discipline are foundational to our business. We are seeking a senior Food Safety& Quality Assurance (FSQA) Manager to lead and strengthen our programs across ourfacilities.Position SummaryThe FSQA Manager is responsible for owning and leading all food safety, quality, sanitation,and regulatory programs across multiple sites. This is a highly operational role requiringdaily engagement with production, sanitation, maintenance, and leadership teams. The idealcandidate has led SQF and USDA audits, managed RTE environments, and can operateindependently with limited ramp-up.Key Responsibilities• Own and lead all FSQA programs including HACCP, Preventive Controls, GMPs, SSOPs,sanitation, and environmental monitoring.• Serve as primary lead for SQF, USDA, customer, and regulatory audits from preparationthrough close-out.• Maintain USDA compliance including daily verification, labeling, and inspection readiness.• Oversee sanitation systems including CIP where applicable and continuous improvementinitiatives.• Own the environmental monitoring and finished product testing programs in an RTEenvironment.• Lead root cause investigations, CAPAs, and risk mitigation efforts.• Partner closely with Operations, Maintenance, and Sanitation to maintain a strong foodsafety culture.• Manage, mentor, and develop FSQA staff.• Support multi-site oversight and consistency of programs across facilities.Qualifications• 7+ years of progressive experience in food safety and quality within food manufacturing,including at least 3 years in a leadership role.• Demonstrated ownership of SQF, USDA, and major customer audits.• Experience in ready-to-eat and/or high-risk food environments.• Strong working knowledge of FSMA, HACCP, Preventive Controls, USDA regulations, andlabeling.• Experience overseeing sanitation systems and environmental monitoring programs.• Experience supporting national retail or high-bar customer programs (e.g., Costco, WholeFoods) preferred.• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Why Join Café Spice• Senior leadership role with meaningful ownership and impact• Multi-site exposure and operational influence• Competitive compensation and benefits• Collaborative, disciplined operating culture
