Responsibilities Safely operate a box truck for local route driving, ensuring timely deliveries and pickups. Load and unload cargo using manual lifting techniques. Verify delivery orders, inspect loads for accuracy, and secure items properly for transit. Maintain clear communication with operations manager to coordinate routes and address any delivery issues promptly. Assist with warehouse tasks such as moving goods within the facility, and organizing shipments. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, traffic laws, and company policies during driving and loading activities. Complete all necessary documentation including delivery logs, route sheets, and incident reports with accuracy. Skills Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier with a focus on route driving in a box truck. Strong customer service skills to interact professionally with clients during deliveries. Warehouse experience including load & unload procedures, heavy lifting, and moving items efficiently. Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles safely and confidently. Familiarity with equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks is preferred. Excellent driving record with knowledge of commercial driving regulations.
