Job Type: Full-TimeLocation: North Carolina – HybridExperience: 8+ YearsEmployment Type: Full-TimeJob SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Java Full Stack Developer to join our growing technology team in a hybrid role based in North Carolina. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of software development experience across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), with strong expertise in Java backend development, modern frontend technologies, microservices, REST APIs, and relational databases.You will work closely with cross-functional teams, architects, product owners, and other developers in an Agile environment to design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable enterprise applications.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications throughout the full SDLC.Develop scalable backend services and microservices using Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, and Spring MVC.Design and implement RESTful APIs supporting JSON/XML data formats.Develop responsive and user-friendly web applications using Angular 16+.Work with SQL databases and develop efficient queries, stored procedures, and database integrations.Utilize JDBC, JPA, and Hibernate for database connectivity and ORM.Write comprehensive unit and integration tests using JUnit and Mockito.Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and Agile ceremonies.Troubleshoot application issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.Collaborate with DevOps teams on application builds, deployments, CI/CD, and release processes.Work with tools such as JIRA and Confluence for project tracking and documentation.Contribute to continuous improvement of development practices, application performance, security, and scalability.Required Qualifications8+ years of professional IT/software development experience across the full SDLC.Strong hands-on experience with Java and J2EE.Extensive experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Microservices architecture.Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON, and XML.Solid experience with SQL, JDBC, JPA, and Hibernate.Hands-on experience developing applications using Angular 16 or later.Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, and responsive web design.Experience with JUnit and Mockito for unit testing.Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence.Experience with DevOps/deployment tools such as Harness and uDeploy.Strong communication, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.Preferred QualificationsExperience with OpenShift and/or Kubernetes.Familiarity with GitHub Copilot or other AI-assisted development tools.Previous experience working in the banking, financial services, or fintech domain.Experience with cloud platforms and modern CI/CD practices.Knowledge of application security, performance optimization, and enterprise integration patterns.Work ArrangementThis is a Full-Time Hybrid position based in North Carolina.
