Electronic Repair Technician
Job DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARY: Troubleshoot and repair electronic assemblies and equipment. Work hours - 7:30 - 3:00 pmESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Test electronic units using standard test equipment and analyze results to evaluate performance and determine need for adjustment Working knowledge of oscilloscopes, DMM, Huntron component analyzer and Function Generators Reassemble and test product after repairs Use blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematic drawings, and engineering / manufacturing instructions for assembling, testing and repairing electronics units, applying knowledge of electronic theory and components Maintain system logs and manuals to document testing and operation of equipment and to record repairs necessary to units Adjust and replace defective or improperly functioning circuitry and electronics components according to IPC StandardsPOSITION QUALIFICATIONS: Good computer skills with working knowledge of Windows format Must be able to lift up to 40lbs and stand and/or sit for long periods of time Ability to work required overtime to support manufacturing needs and requests from our customers Train and assist test personnel when necessary Ability to professionally communicate issues with customers
