With over twenty-five years of continuous growth, we pride ourselves on delivering fast and accurate results to our global customers while fostering a culture of diversity, employee development, and business success. #AlicatPosition SummaryThe Inventory & Logistics Specialist is responsible for executing and maintaining accurate inventory operations, supporting material preparation for production, and ensuring efficient and accurate shipping processes.This role acts as a key operational link between Inventory, Production and Shipping, ensuring materials are properly controlled, staged, and delivered in alignment with production and customer requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesInventory OperationsMaintain accurate inventory transactions in ERP systemEnsure proper material identification, labeling, and location controlEnforce FIFO practices where operationally feasiblePerform and support cycle counts and inventory auditsInvestigate and resolve discrepancies (shortages, misplacements, incorrect counts)Maintain clean and organized inventory locations to support efficiency and traceabilityProduction Support (Includes Material Preparation)Pick, stage, and prepare materials for production work orders (Head Assembly, SMT, etc.)Verify accuracy of components, quantities, and revisions prior to releaseEnsure materials issued to production are complete, accurate, and traceableCoordinate with production teams to prioritize urgent or high-impact buildsMonitor shortages and proactively communicate material gapsSupport return-to-stock or reconciliation of unused materialsHelp standardize material staging and preparation processes to reduce errorsShipping & LogisticsPrepare, pack, and verify outgoing shipments (domestic & international)Ensure accuracy of shipping documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, labels)Coordinate shipments with carriers (DHL, FedEx, UPS)Track shipments and assist in resolving delivery issuesVerify part numbers, quantities, and configurations prior to shipmentCross-Functional ResponsibilitiesAct as a swing resource between Inventory, Production Support, and Shipping based on prioritiesServe as a control point for material movement between Inventory, Production, and ShippingHelp enforce discipline around material access and movementIdentify process gaps causing inventory loss or inefficienciesSupport development and enforcement of SOPsQualificationsRequired2-5 years experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or logisticsExperience with ERP/MRP systemsStrong attention to detail and accountabilityAbility to work hands-on in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentPreferredExperience supporting production (material staging or work orders)Familiarity with BOM structures and part revisionsExperience with international shippingBasic data analysis (Excel)Key TraitsDetail-oriented and process-drivenHigh ownership mindset over material accuracyComfortable working across multiple functionsAble to switch between physical work and system transactionsBenefits* Health, dental, and vision insurance* Life and Disability Insurance Plans* 401k with up to 5% match and vesting schedule* Tuition reimbursement* Earned PTO* Paid holidays* Parental LeaveNot the right fit?
