High Speed Guard EngineerLocation: Springfield, VAPosition OverviewWe are seeking a High Speed Guard (HSG) Engineer to support the implementation, administration, and sustainment of Cross Domain Solutions (CDS) operating across multiple networks and security domains. This role supports enterprise transport and cybersecurity services, including design, engineering, implementation, operations, and sustainment of mission-critical systems in a complex, multi-domain environment.Key ResponsibilitiesGather and analyze technical requirements from stakeholders to determine optimal implementation approachesSchedule and participate in Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs) to design and whiteboard architecture and implementation detailsCoordinate implementation plans and timelines with engineering and project management teamsRespond to and resolve service outages, system issues, and technical inquiriesInstall and manage firmware updates on physical infrastructure components (e.g., servers, storage, switches)Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize performance of high-speed guard and content inspection platformsEngineer, design, and implement High Speed Guard rulesets and policies to enforce cross-domain data transfer requirementsRequired QualificationsActive TS/SCI security clearanceAbility to successfully pass and maintain a Government polygraph (post-hire requirement)Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and six (6) years of relevant experienceDoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certificationHands-on experience with High Speed Guard (HSG) technologiesPreferred QualificationsExperience working with Cross Domain Solutions (CDS) in operational environmentsExperience engineering or supporting systems using a total systems engineering approachProficiency with Linux operating systems, including:General OS security practicesTCP/IP networking fundamentalsNetwork and system security conceptsAbout SITECSITEC is an employee- and customer-focused Information Technology and Professional Services firm specializing in the design, development, and delivery of state-of-the-art technology solutions.
