The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in compliance with safety and quality standards. Additional responsibilities include reading and interpreting blueprints, diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical issues, and ensuring adherence to industry codes and regulations. The Qualified Journeyman will collaborate with a team and provide mentorship to apprentices, when applicable, while ensuring project deadlines are successfully met.QualificationsExpertise in electrical system installation, maintenance, and repairAbility to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematic diagramsStrong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and diagnostics skillsProficient in using electrical tools and equipment safely and effectivelyKnowledge of local, state, and national electrical codes and regulationsStrong commitment to safety protocols and guidelinesExcellent communication and teamwork skills, with a willingness to mentor and collaborateValid Journeyman Electrician License is requiredOSHA certifications and prior experience in both residential and commercial settings are a plusHigh school diploma or GED required; additional technical training or certification is preferred
