Assistant Golf Professional

Working alongside the amazing team at The Quail, we are seeking an Assistant Golf Professional to support our Golf department. Work on a renowned golf course located in sunny Carmel Valley, California. Learn and grow within a strong golf operation. Key AccountabilitiesAssist with coordinating details of golf events (scorecards, proximities, pairings, rules sheet, scoreboard, etc.) Act as receptionist to all guests coming in and/or calling the golf shop Reserve tee times for members and outside guests; collect payment for tee times and golf shop retail purchases using the Point-of-Sales system Organize group outings, special events and tournaments and manage communication between departments to help ensure coordination of activities. Assist with the cleaning, inventory, and maintaining the golf shop's appearance and merchandise General RequirementsThe ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to maintain organization and a positive attitude Minimum three years golf course experience Current progress or interest towards attaining PGA Membership The ability to interact professionally with members and guests and deliver exceptional customer service The ability to learn and efficiently work in a retail environment including use of a cash register Salary: $18.00 - $19.00 per hourThe QuailNestled in the heart of Carmel Valley, our breathtaking 800-acre property boasts a world-class championship golf course, and beautiful accomodations.
