Housekeeper
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cleanliness and hospitality, ensuring that all areas are maintained to the highest standards. This role is essential in providing a welcoming environment for guests and maintaining the overall appearance of our facilities.
Responsibilities
Perform cleaning duties in guest rooms, hallways, and common areas to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are met.
Dust, vacuum, and polish furniture and fixtures, ensuring all surfaces are clean and well-maintained.
Change bed linens, towels, and other linens as required, ensuring fresh supplies are always available.
Clean bathrooms thoroughly, including sinks, toilets, showers, and mirrors to maintain a high standard of sanitation.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
Assist with laundry services as needed, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens.
Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitizing to comply with health regulations.
Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when stock is low.
Requirements
Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial services is preferred but not mandatory.
Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment is a plus.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with housekeeping management practices is beneficial.
Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting or moving heavy objects.
