Job Summary And ResponsibilitiesAs our Central Services Technician, you will be a vital link in patient care, ensuring the highest quality, sterile instrumentation is always available to medical teams.Every day, you will meticulously process and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment, assembling trays, conducting quality checks, and maintaining inventory. You'll provide excellent service to patients, physicians, and staff, ensuring tools are safe and ready for procedures.To be successful in this role, you will possess exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a rigorous commitment to sterilization protocols, working efficiently and expertly to support optimal outcomes.Gather, clean, and sterilize surgical equipment and supplies.Examine, operate, and maintain sterilizing machines such as steam autoclaves.Stock surgical tools and supplies.Prepare, wrap, and organize equipment into instrument trays for use during medical procedures.Maintain detailed records of sterilization procedures, equipment maintenance, and supplies.Inspect equipment for damage and ensure that supplies have not expired.Job RequirementsRequiredHigh School Diploma or equivalentOther Graduated from an accredited CPD Technician ProgramOne of the following:Certified and Registered Central Service TechnicianCertified Sterile Processing and Dist SupervisorCertified Sterile Processing and Dist TechCert Sterile Processing Dist TechPreferredCertified Instrument SpecialistWhere You'll WorkCHI St. Anthony Hospital is a 25 bed, licensed for 49, faith-based, acute care, level four trauma, critical access hospital and healthcare campus serving the Pendleton, Oregon area for more than 100 years.
