Precision Machinist I

Precision Machinist IProduces machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies.Reads and interprets blueprints. Mechanically Minded Mechanical aptitude and good math skills are required. Inspect close tolerance parts & Attention to Detail. Must be fluent in use of calipers, micrometers, and general measuring devices. Performs daily and regular cleaning and light maintenance tasks on CNC machinery. Complies with all quality policies, specifications, regulations and instructions.No direct reports. Produces machined parts by operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies.Ability to effectively communicate information and respond to questions in person-to-person and small group situations with other employees of the organization.
