This is a highly visible role for someone who can balance strategy with hands-on execution and bring structure, discipline, and practical solutions to a fast-moving environment.The RoleThis person will be responsible for the systems, infrastructure, security, applications, and technology partners that keep the business running. The ideal candidate is not only comfortable setting direction, but also willing to get into the details, solve problems, and make smart decisions without layers of oversight.ResponsibilitiesLead day-to-day IT operations across infrastructure, systems, support, security, and applicationsStrengthen reliability, security, and scalability across the technology environmentOversee key business platforms and ensure they support critical workflowsBuild practical roadmaps that connect business needs with technology executionImprove processes, reporting, automation, and system utilization across departmentsServe as a technical escalation point when complex issues ariseManage outside technology partners, service providers, contracts, and spendEstablish clear priorities, standards, and accountability across IT initiativesSupport business continuity, disaster recovery, cybersecurity, and risk management effortsRequirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field10+ years of progressive experience leading IT operations in a business-critical environmentDemonstrated experience across infrastructure, enterprise applications, cybersecurity, and service deliveryAbility to lead through both internal resources and outside partnersStrong judgment around architecture, vendor selection, systems improvement, andExperience translating business priorities into actionable IT plansProven ability to lead cross-functional projects from planning through executionComfort working independently, making decisions, and knowing when to bring in outside expertiseStrong vendor management, budget ownership, and governance experiencePractical, business-minded communication style with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersStrong project management skills: capable of running concurrent initiatives across teams with clear milestones, owners, and accountabilityDemonstrated use of AI tools to improve productivity, streamline workflows, or solve operational challengesExperience identifying and implementing automation opportunities that reduce manual effort and improve efficiencyWhy This RoleThis is a true ownership opportunity.
