Software Engineer – Web / Azure / LLM (Python)

Job Overview: We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Python development, web application integration, Azure, and Large Language Models (LLMs). The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing backend integrations, building LLM-powered applications, implementing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions, and integrating AI capabilities with modern web applications. The candidate should have practical experience working with Python, LangChain, LLM function calling, API integrations, and modern database technologies.

Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain backend application integrations using Python. Write Python scripts to interact with Large Language Models (LLMs), implement function calling, and build AI-powered workflows. Design and implement RAG-based solutions for retrieving and processing relevant information. Work with LangChain and related frameworks to develop LLM-driven applications. Develop and integrate MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers to connect AI applications with external tools and systems. Implement workflow orchestration and background processing using Temporal. Integrate React-based frontend applications with Python backend services. Develop and consume REST APIs to connect applications with enterprise backend systems. Work with PostgreSQL and MongoDB for database design, queries, and application data management. Utilize Microsoft Azure services to support application development, deployment, and integration. Maintain code quality, version control, and development best practices. Required Technical Skills3–7 years of hands-on software engineering and development experience. Strong proficiency in Python programming and backend development. Hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG, and LLM function calling. Experience with LangChain or similar LLM application frameworks. Knowledge of MCP servers and tool integrations. Experience with Temporal for workflow orchestration. Frontend integration experience using React and TypeScript. Working experience with PostgreSQL and MongoDB.Experience developing and integrating REST APIs. Hands-on experience with Git or other version control systems. Exposure to Microsoft Azure cloud services.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience building and deploying production-grade AI/LLM applications. Understanding of prompt engineering and context management. Experience with vector databases and embedding-based retrieval. Familiarity with cloud-native application development and deployment. Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.
