Job Title: Plant Engineer PrincipalLocation: Winfield, WV 25213Duration: 12 MonthsPay Rate: $64/Hr on W2Job Summary:Coordinate the various functions and work activities of employees assigned to support the respective system. This role has authority to make changes in the system as required and manage the system end-to-end so as to ensure optimal overall safe, reliable performance.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:1) Troubleshoot, analyze and correct problems with assigned plant system.2) Implement and assist with process improvement projects and/or related programs.3) Coordinate activities of employees in maintenance, energy production, lab, coal handling, or outside contractors as required.4) Consult with or actively seek advice from Region Plant Engineering.Education:Engineering bachelor’s degree from ABET accredited school with equivalent experience, or other bachelor’s degree with equivalent experience.Associate’s degree with equivalent experience; or high school diploma or GED with equivalent experience. See below for experience requirement.Experience:With an ABET accredited Engineering Bachelor’s degree, 7 years of relevant plant experience; or with any other bachelor’s degree, 8 years of relevant plant experience.Associate’s degree, 10 years of relevant plant experience.High school diploma or GED, 12 years of relevant plant experience.Physical demand level is light.The System Owner Prin is intended for engineering candidates or others as a developmental position for plant leadership roles. The highest level for all other candidates is Plant System Owner Sr (SG 7).
