Cycle Counter

Position Overview: The Cycle Counter plays a crucial role in maintaining accurate inventory levels for trailer components, subassemblies, and finished goods within MAXX-D. This position supports production efficiency and inventory integrity by conducting regular inventory audits, reconciling discrepancies, and identifying root causes of variances. The role requires attention to detail, a strong sense of accountability, and the ability to collaborate with production, warehouse, and purchasing teams. Key Responsibilities: 1. Cycle Counting Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts based on predefined schedules and ABC classification. Count physical inventory of raw materials, fabricated parts, hardware, tires, axles, electrical components, and finished trailers. Record inventory counts accurately and compare results with the ERP system. 2. Inventory Reconciliation: Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies between physical counts and system records. Identify root causes such as incorrect BOM consumption, misplacements, incorrect receiving, or mislabeling. Report findings and recommend corrective actions to prevent future discrepancies. 3. Process Support: Communicate with material handlers, production leads, and warehouse personnel to ensure part locations are correct and well-documented. Assist in auditing inventory transactions such as returns, scrap, rework, and transfer orders. 4. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed logs of count activity and variance investigations. Generate and submit cycle count reports with observations and potential inventory risks. 5. Inventory Management: Assist with regular inventory cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy. Participate in year-end inventory counts and reconciliation efforts. Work Environment: This role involves both indoor and outdoor work in an office and shop environment. The position requires adherence to safety protocols, especially when operating equipment and handling materials.
