Job Title: Electrical Project ManagerEssential SkillsMinimum of 4+ years of experience in electrical construction with exposure to project management or leadership responsibilities.Proven experience managing or supporting commercial, industrial, or institutional electrical projects.Strong understanding of electrical systems, construction processes, and full project lifecycles.Demonstrated experience with project budgeting, scheduling, and cost control.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and other technical documents.Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.Solid project management skills, including planning, coordination, and issue resolution.Proficiency in project documentation, reporting, and maintaining accurate records throughout the project lifecycle.Additional Skills & QualificationsHands-on electrical experience with practical field experience in construction environments.Experience contributing to or performing project estimation in electrical construction.Ability to lead project meetings and present clear, concise status updates to diverse stakeholders.Demonstrated ability to mentor and support junior team members and field personnel.Strong problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing project challenges.Interest in long-term growth within a company that offers clear advancement opportunities and project ownership.Job DescriptionThe Electrical Project Manager leads and oversees commercial and industrial electrical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role ensures that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to high quality standards while maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams. It is an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrical professional with hands-on managerial experience who is ready to take greater ownership across multiple projects and contribute to a collaborative, growth-oriented team.ResponsibilitiesManage electrical construction projects from pre-construction planning through final completion and closeout.Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules, budgets, and forecasts to keep projects on track.Coordinate closely with general contractors, owners, engineers, and field teams to ensure alignment on scope, schedule, and quality expectations.Review drawings, specifications, and all project documents to identify scope, risks, constructability issues, and opportunities for improvement.Oversee project financials, including budgeting, cost tracking, change orders, and billing, to maintain profitability and financial accuracy.Lead regular project meetings and provide consistent status updates to internal and external stakeholders.Ensure all work complies with safety standards, electrical codes, regulations, and company procedures.Support, guide, and mentor field staff, foremen, and junior project team members to promote professional growth and strong project performance.Identify potential project issues early and resolve them proactively to maintain timelines, quality, and profitability.Collaborate with estimation and project management teams to support accurate project planning and execution.Maintain strong, professional relationships with clients and partners to encourage repeat business and positive project outcomes.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Belmont, MI.Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $43.27 - $52.88/hr.RequirementsEligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
