IT Infrastructure & User Support Technician

*IT Infrastructure & User Support Technician* *Codilis & Associates, P.C.* is seeking an *IT Infrastructure & User Support Technician* to join our team. This position is responsible for providing technical support to internal users, maintaining desktop infrastructure, and assisting with the maintenance of local network and security infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong technical and analytical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the ability to provide professional and helpful support to employees with varying levels of technical experience. Key Responsibilities * Install, configure, maintain, and support desktop computers, laptops, peripheral equipment, and software. * Provide Help Desk support for end-user hardware and software issues. * Update and complete Help Desk tickets. * Troubleshoot hardware, software, printing, scanning, and basic network issues. * Install software, patches, and updates on desktops, laptops, and servers. * Troubleshoot and replace hardware on desktop and server equipment. * Work with vendor support contacts to resolve technical issues. * Ensure desktop computers and software work seamlessly with various systems. * Provide local infrastructure support and assist with onsite maintenance of network and security infrastructure. * Assist with the maintenance of the company's VOIP telephone system. * Work with the IT Manager on hardware and software purchases. * Assess functional needs and assist in determining specifications for technology purchases. * Perform other IT-related duties as needed. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field *or* a minimum of 2–5 years of practical, hands-on IT experience. * 2–5 years of experience supporting Windows 10 and Windows 11 desktop PCs. * Experience troubleshooting hardware issues and replacing hardware on desktops and servers. * Experience with software installation, patches, and updates. * Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills. * Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously. * Ability to work effectively under pressure. * Strong customer service skills and a professional approach when assisting users. * Experience with desktop, laptop, server, printing, scanning, and network-related support.
