Pet Sitter & Dog Walker Job Type: Part-Time Compensation: $12.50 – $18.00 per hour (Service-based pay) Location: Northwest Charlotte, NC (Including Mt. Flexible Opportunities We offer flexible scheduling options ideal for those who love animals and want to build a local career in pet care. 1. Daily Pet Sitting & Dog Walking The Role: Provide 1–4 daily visits to client homes to assist with walks, feeding, playtime, and general care. The Schedule: High demand during daytime hours and vacation periods. Requirements: Availability for at least two weekends per month and a rotation of major holidays. Holiday shifts are required and compensated at a premium rate. Holidays include: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, July 4th, Memorial Day, and Labor Day. 2. Overnight Pet Care (9 PM – 7 AM) The Role: Stay overnight in a client’s home to provide companionship and security for their pets. The Schedule: A guaranteed 10-hour overnight stay (9 PM – 7 AM). Ideal for: Individuals with daytime commitments or full-time employment seeking evening income. These stays often include a paid dinner visit and may include a midday walk. What We Are Looking For Qualified candidates are dependable, detail-oriented professionals who prioritize animal safety. To join our team, you must have: Reliable Transportation: A valid driver’s license and access to a reliable, insured vehicle. Technology: A smartphone with reliable internet for scheduling and client updates. Commitment: Ability to commit to a minimum of 6 months to maintain consistent relationships with our clients and their pets. Integrity: Professional references and a background that reflects reliability and trust. Local Knowledge: Familiarity with the Northwest Charlotte service area, specifically near Hwy 16 and Mt.
