Sr. Accountant

Sr. AccountantWe are partnering with a well-established manufacturer near Monroe, WI to hire a Sr. Accountant for a full-time, direct hire, fully onsite opportunity. This role is a key member of the plant finance team, working closely with leadership to ensure accurate financial reporting, analysis, and operational support. This position reports to the Controller. If you're looking to grow your career in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with strong visibility and impact, this is an excellent opportunity in a supportive team environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and maintain weekly cash flow forecastsProduce and distribute monthly financial reports related to plant performanceSupport month-end and year-end close, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliationsMaintain fixed asset and tooling ledgersAssist with and participate in internal and external auditsParticipate in quarterly physical inventory processesSupport accounts receivable activities, including:Customer invoicingProvide backup support for accounts payablePartner cross-functionally to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency in financial operationsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent experience.3+ years of accounting experience (manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred)Strong proficiency in MS Office including ExcelExperience with ERP systemsSolid understanding of financial reporting, reconciliations, and audit supportExcellent problem-solving, analytical, organizational and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentStrong attention to detail and commitment to deadlines
