Technology Architect – Java & Big Data

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer / Technology Architect with strong hands-on expertise in Java, Apache Spark, and MongoDB to design, develop, and optimize large-scale data processing systems and backend services. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java. Build and optimize large-scale data processing solutions using Apache Spark. Design and manage high-performance data storage solutions using MongoDB. Develop high-throughput applications capable of processing large volumes of data. Analyze system performance and implement optimization strategies. Collaborate with Data Engineering, Product, DevOps, and Platform teams to deliver enterprise solutions. Develop clean, maintainable, and reusable code following industry best practices. Troubleshoot complex application, data processing, and performance issues. Participate in application architecture, design, development, testing, and deployment activities. Support continuous integration and modern DevOps practices. Ensure applications meet scalability, reliability, security, and performance requirements. Adapt quickly to changing project requirements and priorities. Required Technical Skills Java Apache Spark MongoDB Backend/Application Development Large-Scale Data Processing Distributed Systems High-Throughput Applications Data Engineering Concepts Performance Optimization DevOps / Continuous Integration REST APIs and Microservices Strong SQL and database concepts Preferred Skills Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Experience with Kafka or other distributed messaging platforms. Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps. Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Experience working in Agile development environments.
