Each individual offer will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. The role is eligible for both short-term and long-term bonuses.Benefits include:Competitive 401(k) matchTuition and wellness reimbursementsComprehensive medical, dental, and vision packageBenefitsCompetitive compensationGenerous time off policyOpportunity to attend conferencesEmphasis on work/life balanceCollaborative team environmentPositive impact on ultra-rare disease patientsKey Success BehaviorsStrong collaboration and communication across functionsStrategic planning and executionEffective relationship building with internal and external stakeholdersConsistent delivery of tactical initiatives and timely feedbackResponsibilitiesKOL EngagementAdvocate DevelopmentMarketing CollaborationExecutive EncountersKOL EngagementAlign with cross-functional account plans and teams to orchestrate marketing and commercial resources for the top 10–15% of KOLs.Identify, profile, cultivate, and maintain long-term relationships with KOLs within the pHLH and MAS community.Conduct compliant, on-label discussions focused on product, disease state, and company topics in appropriate venues.Execute approved KOL programs (e.g., disease-state or product education) as directed by leadership.Collaborate closely with field teams (MSLs, FRMs, CBDs) to ensure strategic and tactical alignment for each assigned KOL.Serve as primary point of contact to resolve KOL commercial or marketing issues when directed by Gamifant Marketing leadership or Headquarters.Apply a customer-centric, needs-based approach to KOL engagement and resource coordination.Plan and execute KOL executive encounters at local, regional, and national conferences, POAs, and other approved venues in partnership with MSLs and cross-functional colleagues.Liaise between KOLs and home-office teams, ensuring compliant communication and alignment across commercial and marketing initiatives.Advocate DevelopmentSupport on-label KOL advocate development by providing education using approved materials and presentations.Collaborate with Medical Affairs and Marketing to identify and nurture emerging advocates within the rare disease community.Gather and relay KOL feedback on new pHLH and MAS franchise and brand-related marketing strategies and materials, ensuring all requests and materials are approved by Legal, Compliance, and Regulatory.Provide actionable insights to commercial leadership to inform strategy and execution.Serve as the central point of contact for speaker logistics and scheduling, ensuring seamless cross-functional communication.Recommend and support advisory board participation, attending sessions as appropriate and approved.Provide speaker recommendations to Marketing as requested, ensuring alignment with compliance and brand objectives.RequirementsUniversity degree (or equivalent) in Life Sciences or a related discipline.8+ years of progressive experience in one or more of the following areas within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry:Field salesProduct marketingMedical or clinical roles in the same or related therapeutic areaTherapeutic experience in one or more of the following:Primary Hemophagocytic Lymphohistiocytosis (pHLH)Macrophage Activation Syndrome (MAS)ImmunologyOrphan/Ultra Rare DiseasesPrior Thought Leader Liaison or equivalent field-based experience, with demonstrated ability to engage and manage relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in a compliant, patient-focused manner.Experience in marketing strategy or execution, with the ability to translate field insights into actionable commercial plans.Demonstrated leadership capability with a proven ability to inspire, guide, and develop teams toward shared objectives.Proven ability to assemble and lead cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, and alignment with strategic goals.Skilled in effective communication and presentation, with the ability to tailor messages to diverse audiences, including KOLs, internal stakeholders, and executive leadership.Strong organizational and project management skills, including advanced analytical and planning capabilities.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and execute strategic and tactical plans within tight timelines.Commitment to conducting all activities within regulatory, legal, and compliance guidelines, and in accordance with approved product labeling.Willingness and ability to travel domestically (approximately 60–80%); travel may vary based on geography.Occasional international travel may be required.Must possess a valid driver's license.Equal Opportunity EmployerSobi is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind.
