Staff Geotechnical Engineer / Geologist

Local, well established Seattle/Eastside firm, with an excellent reputation in the community, is looking for a geotechnical engineer or geologist to join our team at our Seattle office. The ideal candidate would have: 0 - 2 years experience in the Puget Sound area BS in civil/geotechnical engineering or geology Preferred - Technical background in geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing Preferred - Skills in: Soil classification, shallow/deep foundation design, slope stability analysis, earth retention systems, soil improvement techniques·, materials testing & engineering, report writing, conducting field explorations, sampling & inspections Positive work·attitude and ability to work safely, independently, and efficiently Excellent written and verbal communication skills Geotech Consultants offers an excellent compensation and benefits package including employer paid medical, dental, disability, employer match 401 (K), paid holidays & vacation.
