Janitorial/Sanitation-2nd shift

Caruso is a family owned, 4th generation company that delivers fresh ready-to-eat, and pre-cut produce, sandwiches, salads, and fresh meal kits to retail distribution centers and direct-to-retail stores all over the USA and we are growing!We are hiring for a 2nd shift Sanitation/Janitorial role Monday-Friday with Saturdays or Sundays as needed.Job Description:The Sanitation/Janitorial role will clean and maintain assigned areas of the building and stock appropriate areas with gloves, hairnets, etc. for operations.Supervisory Responsibilities:None.Duties/Responsibilities:Performs cleaning and housekeeping tasks and services throughout building.Picks up trash and empties trash containers.Cleaning and sanitizing of shared facilities and common spaces.Ensures heating and cooling systems are operational.Ensures that cleaning and GMP supplies are stocked.Performs other related duties as required.Required Skills/Abilities:Thorough understanding of safety hazards and proper use of various cleaning and sanitizing solutions.Detail-oriented and thorough.Ability to keep the property clean and orderly.Good interpersonal skills with polite and courteous demeanor toward staff, customers, clients, and visitors to the property.Physical Requirements:Prolonged periods standing.Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, climb, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
