Materials Handler

We are looking for a reliable Material Handler to help with our manufacturing operations. Our Material Handler will be responsible for unloading product deliveries, staging products based on customer orders and assisting with organizing and maintaining existing inventory. They move raw materials to the production floor and finished product to the warehouse in preparation for shipment using hand carts ant forklifts. Preference will be given to candidates who are licensed to operate a forklift and motor vehicle. Also, candidates should be available to work overtime hours during the busier times of the year and able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time. Preferred Skills / Licenses High school diploma/GED required Ability to lift loads of 25+ lbs. Current and valid OSHA forklift operation certificate is a plus Able to work occasional weekends, holidays and evenings 1+ years' inventory management experience is a plus Strong attention to detail Current Texas DL (CDL not required) is a plus WORK ENVIRONMENT Warehouse environment (sometimes hot / cold with the seasons) LOTS of walking around our 100,000 sq foot production facility Job Type: Full-time Pay: $12.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Schedule: 10 hour shift Monday to Friday Weekends as needed Ability to Commute: Houston, TX 77008 (Required) Work Location: In person
