You will partner with the General Manager and Area Leader in the establishment of store action plans, financial metric results, and the development of hourly Team Members in the restaurant. You will be responsible for supporting the General Manager in the overall restaurant operations at an exceptional level including but not limited to schedules, forecasting, labor management and inventory. As an AGM, you will be expected to learn and master competency-based leadership and operational skills./ppWhat Youll Do :/pulliAssist the General Manager in managing daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures./liliEnsure adherence to CAVAs standards for food quality, service, and cleanliness./liliOversee inventory management, supply ordering, and cost control to maintain profitability./liliSupervise and support Team Members with training, coaching, and performance feedback./liliSupport the General Manager with scheduling and staffing./liliAssist with addressing Team Member issues and conflicts to maintain a positive work environment./liliEnhance the guest experience by upholding high service standards and promptly addressing customer concerns./liliImplement strategies to help with boosting customer satisfaction and loyalty./liliLead by example in customer service and encourage the team to follow suit./liliSupport with managing financial aspects including tracking sales, cash handling, and adhering to budget guidelines./liliAssist with preparing financial reports, analyze performance metrics, and identify areas for improvement./liliAssist with ensuring accurate financial record-keeping and compliance with cash handling procedures./liliAssist with overseeing food safety practices and ensure team training on proper procedures./liliAssist with administrative tasks such as inventory management and maintaining operational records./liliSupport the General Manager in report preparation and action plan implementation./liliParticipate in special projects and initiatives to drive restaurant success and support the General Manager as needed./liliAssist with any additional duties as assigned by the General Manager or higher management./li/ulpThe Qualifications:/pulli1- 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role within the restaurant or hospitality industry./liliStrong leadership and team management skills./liliExcellent communication and interpersonal abilities./liliProven track record of delivering exceptional customer service./liliAdapt to changing circumstances and develop solutions to enhance restaurant performance./liliAbility to manage financial aspects, including budgeting and cost control./liliKnowledge of legal, health, safety, and sanitation regulations./liliAbility to adapt to a fast-paced environment and solve problems effectively./liliWilling to work flexibly (including nights and weekends) and travel as needed./liliConsistently exhibits a generous and friendly demeanor when engaging with guests./liliCompletes tasks and projects within established timelines./liliPromotes and upholds a culture of inclusivity and respect within the team./liliActively seeks and incorporates feedback from team members to improve performance and operations./liliApplies effective decision-making skills to guide the team towards achieving success./liliRemains open to and actively explores new ideas to drive business success./liliDemonstrates emotional stability and resilience in high-stress situations./li/ulpPhysical Requirements:/pulliThe ability to regularly work overtime/liliMust be able to bend and reach overhead often/liliMust possess dexterity to handle tongs, pots/pans, and other equipment/liliMust be comfortable working in temperatures ranging from hot to cold/liliMust be comfortable working near open flames/liliMay be required to work in tight spaces/liliMust maintain near constant communication with multiple people/liliClose vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision are required/liliMust be able to sit, squat and kneel occasionally/liliMust be able to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner/liliMay be required to occasionally work in outdoor weather conditions/liliMay stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds/li/ulpWhat We Offer:/pulliWeve got you covered.
