Field Technician

RJR Partners is working on behalf of our client, a leading InsurTech company, on their search for a Field Technician. As a Field Technician, you will be at the heart of our commitment to delivering unparalleled service and product excellence to our customers. Your pivotal role is to ensure that our proprietary sensors are seamlessly integrated into the locations and systems of our clients.Your main role responsibilities will include:Installations: Work closely with customers to manage and complete the installation process of our revolutionary sensors. Ensure that each installation meets our rigorous standards and client requirements.Logistics & Coordination: Handle the intricate logistics involved in deploying our sensors across various locations, ensuring timely and efficient operations, track inventory and warehouse organization.Network Monitoring: Regularly oversee the health and functionality of our deployed sensors, swiftly identifying and addressing any discrepancies or issues.Issue Triage: Be the first point of contact for any operational challenges, swiftly addressing and resolving them to maintain our commitment to unparalleled service.Project Management: Own schedules, define key milestones, manage resources, and ensure on-time delivery of projects. Track, assess, and report on project deliverables, ensuring alignment with company objectives.Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs, addressing their concerns, and ensuring they derive maximum value from our products.Inventory Management: Maintain an organized warehouse space and proper inventory levels to ensure uninterrupted product installation.Process Improvement: Constantly evaluate and refine our operational processes, raising the bar on efficiency, resourcefulness, and problem-solving prowess.Skills & Qualifications Be willing to work a Hybrid schedule from our Madison, WI office while not traveling for installations - 50% travel/onsite and 50% office workBe hardworking, hungry to learn, and have the ability to work independentlyHave a mechanical aptitude Have excellent communication skills with strong attention to detailBe flexible with a strong work ethic and a love for problem-solvingHaving climbing certifications or extensive experience is a huge plusEnjoy lift objects up to 75 pounds multiple times daily Are comfortable with climbing ladders, bending, squatting, stooping, twisting, reaching, walking, standing, and working at heights and/or on irregular surfacesHave your own reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, meet qualifications to be insured on company vehicles and able/willing to drive a company vehicleYou're exactly the professional we're looking for if you:Possess at least 3+ years of experience as a field technician, or in field operations (tower technician, solar installation, etc).Exhibit top-notch organizational skills, with an ability to coordinate multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication abilities, both written and verbal.Are proactive, solution-focused, and driven by the ambition to exceed customer expectations.Have a proven track record of timely project delivery and an ability to operate autonomously.Compensation includes:Base salary commensurate with experience.Full-time benefits.
