Cleaner

Job Description Title: CLEANER Reports to: Office Manager / GM / Restaurant Manager Summary of Position: Keep the front of the house clean. Duties & Responsibilities: ▪ Dust all dining rooms including chairs, artwork, lights, etc. ▪ Keep glass windows / doors clean. ▪ Keep door frames clean and dust free. ▪ Maintain stained glass window partitions clean. ▪ Ensure floors are clean & establish cleaning schedule of front lobby floors. ▪ Thoroughly clean all bathrooms in the building, including upstairs & employee restroom. ▪ Ensure the front door to the restaurant is clean at all times. ▪ Ensure the front entrance is presentable. ▪ Be sure that all soap dispensers in bathrooms are full by the end of each shift along with all bathroom toiletries. ▪ Notify management when cleaning supplies are getting low so that we can order. ▪ Maintain cleaning supply area organized & clean. ▪ Be available for laundry as needed. Qualifications: ▪ No previous restaurant experience required. ▪ Be physically able to lift, reach, bend and stoop. ▪ Be able to be working in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 12 hours). ▪ Be able to safely lift bags, cases and stacks weighing up to 60 pounds up to 30 times per shift. ▪ Be able to organize day to ensure all tasks are completed. ▪ Be able to communicate effectively with management.
