Inventory Specialist

Envision Technology, an innovative small business providing advanced electro-optical solutions for defense applications, is seeking an Inventory Specialist. In this role, you are responsible for overseeing the organization’s inventory levels through material issuance, accurate transactions, cycle counts, and investigative means to resolve discrepancies.Responsibilities:Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions and update systems accordingly.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including procurement, production, and engineering to forecast demand and plan material requirements.Conduct regular analysis of inventory data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve any issues related to quality or quantity.Monitor inventory levels and track material usage to identify potential shortages or excesses.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes and enhance efficiency in material planning.Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.General administrative duties as needed.Qualifications: Associate’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field and/or 5+ years of inventory experience.Proficient in using ERP systems or other inventory management software.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with staff, customers, suppliers, and other external personnel.Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.Accurate and precise attention to detail.Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Additional Information: Applicant must be a US Person.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.This position will have access to information and items protected under the International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR) and must therefore be a “U.S. person” as that term is defined under ITAR, 22 CFR 120.62.
