EMPLOYEMENT TYPE: Direct Hire JOB SITE: Everett, WA PAY RATE RANGE: $27-$34/hr SHIFT: M-F 8:30am-4pm (flexible after training is complete) EXTENSION/CONVERSION: Eligible BENEFITS: Medical insurance, Dental, Vision, Paid time off, 401K, sick leave, and EAP. POSITION SUMMARY Our lasers are inside the machines detecting gravitational waves from across the universe. They're powering the AI chips that run the world's most advanced data centers. They're being used in FDA-track medical devices that could one day detect breast cancer from a patient's breath. And they're helping replace the dental drill. This isn't a warehouse assembly line. You'll be hand-building precision laser drivers and electronic assemblies that end up in some of the most consequential technology on the planet — and you'll know exactly what you built. ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES You'll spend your days at your own bench, building. That means: · Hand soldering PCB assemblies — both SMT and through-hole — with care and precision · Mechanical assembly: integrating PCBs into finished driver units (bench-top sized, nothing heavy) · Building wire harnesses · Running basic pass/fail verification testing · If you love the satisfaction of building something that works and works right, this is the job. You'll train alongside a highly experienced technician for the first couple of weeks, then work independently at your own bench on a variety of products. The team is small and collaborative — people who genuinely enjoy what they make. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS · High school diploma required; AA in electronics or related field is a plus · 5+ years of hands-on SMT and through-hole soldering experience in a production or manufacturing environment · Experience building electro-mechanical sub-assemblies and wire harnesses · Strong attention to detail — you follow documented processes carefully and consistently · Basic computer proficiency (ERP system navigation via barcode scanning; no advanced skills needed) · A production mindset: you like to see what you built at the end of the day · A collaborative, easy-going personality — this team values mutual respect and a willingness to learn from experienced colleagues · IPC and/or J-STD soldering certifications are a plus (the company self-certifies annually WHY WORK FOR US: Profit sharing: Every employee — every level — participates.
