Inventory Specialist
Job DescriptionSummary/ObjectiveThe Inventory Employee performs a variety of office/warehouse tasks. These tasks include but are not limited to: RGA Processing, Counts and Processing Returns.Essential Job FunctionsPerforms all tasks relating to RGA 's.Ensures that RGA's are processed in a timely manner.Ensures that new locations are set up as needed.Ensures all daily reports are monitored for issues.Ensures all monthly reports are monitored for issues.Does all counts requested by customer service to address issues and communicates back in a timely manner the results.Verify information is correct on receivers when purchasers question information reported. Files copies of paperwork, such as: Receivers, daily and monthly reports and count sheets.Process's and enters I only into the system.Ensures that a count of 3 items that have not been counted is done weekly.Ensures that all counts have been adjusted.Ensures 55's are processed daily.Ensures 11's are processed daily.Ensures 99's are processed daily.Does vendor and location counts.Ensures all items have a valid UPC in the system. Reports all equipment issues and concerns to a supervisor.Have an understanding of all software and programs used, including but not limited to: APLUS, RF, Encompass, Word, Excel, etc.Knowledge, Skills, And AbilitiesPositive, professional, customer service skillsAbility to meet deadlines in a timely manner.Ability to work safely.Professional and courteous telephone skillsAbility to handle multiple priorities and prioritize tasks.Ability to work in an efficient manner.Communicate effectively with all members of the company to ensure proper exchange of information.Must be able to read, write, and communicate fluently in English.Must be able to perform basic math functions accurately.Must maintain a high level of accuracy.Must be able to lift 50 lbs. safely.Must be able to pass both a written and driving forklift exam and drive a forklift safely.Must comply and ensure compliance with all safety, OSHA, FSMA and company policies.Qualifications/Experience/Education1-2 years of computer experience preferred.1-2 year's previous warehouse experience preferred.Previous leadership position preferred.High School degree or equivalent. Basic math skillsBasic understanding of Excel and Word preferred.
