Leveraging innovative solutions and technologies, we serve customers all over the world.ABOUT THE POSITIONThe ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members.LOCATION: This is an onsite position at our Astec-Jerome Avenue facility in Chattanooga, TNNOTE: This position is not an IT Project Manager role. Projects are focused on manufacturing equipment, automation, capacity and efficiency.Key DeliverablesDevelop documentation for processes and procedures for projects.Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibilityDevelop a detailed project planEnsure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budgetEnsure resource availability and allocationCommunicate, monitor and track progressKey Activities & ResponsibilitiesCoordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projectsEnsure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budgetDeveloping project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibilityEnsure resource availability and allocationDevelop a detailed project plan to track progressUse appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costsMeasure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniquesReport and escalate to management as neededManage the relationship with the client and all stakeholdersPerform risk management to minimize project risksEstablish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendorsCreate and maintain comprehensive project documentationTo be successful in this role, your experience and competencies are:Bachelor's degree or higher or equivalent combination of education and experience and training5+ years of end-to-end project management experienceCreative problem-solverBasic financial planningResource ManagementEffective team-building expertiseExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHighly organized with strong attention to detailExperience in a matrix-based, marcom organization preferredMicrosoft Outlook expertiseProficiency in Microsoft SuitesOur Culture and ValuesEmployees that become part of Astec embody the values below throughout their work.Continuous devotion to meeting the needs of our customersHonesty and integrity in all aspects of businessRespect for all individualsPreserving entrepreneurial spirit and innovationSafety, quality and productivity as means to ensure successWORK ENVIRONMENTOfficeWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to risk of injury in an office environment and occasionally a manufacturing shop plant environment.
