Position Summary: The Occupational Therapist evaluates the functional needs of physically disabled patients. This role involves developing treatment goals and implementing appropriate treatment plans utilizing various occupational therapy procedures.The Occupational Therapist must demonstrate knowledge and skills suitable for providing care relevant to the age of patients served within their department. Understanding principles of growth and development across the lifespan is essential for providing considerate care. Primary (Essential) Duties: - Conduct objective and quantifiable assessments to establish baseline levels of self-care function for referred patients, including medical history, cognitive function, sensory-perceptual-motor function, and activities of daily living.- Identify functional needs and establish measurable treatment outcome goals based on initial patient assessments.- Develop and implement dynamic treatment programs designed to achieve or significantly progress toward established outcome goals, ensuring consistency and continuity in patient care. Work Conditions/Hours: Normal working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. However, scheduling flexibility may be required based on business needs.
