Senior Performance Modeling EngineerJoin a VC-backed stealth startup building next-generation AI inference systems for data centre-scale workloads. You'll help develop the simulation and modelling infrastructure that drives architectural decisions for a highly differentiated AI accelerator, working alongside experts in hardware, systems and compiler engineering.About the RoleWe're looking for an experienced engineer to build and evolve processor simulators and architectural models that guide the design of cutting-edge AI hardware. This is a hands-on role with significant ownership and close collaboration across architecture, hardware and software teams.What You'll DoDevelop and maintain processor simulators and performance modelsModel pipelines, memory systems, interconnects and AI acceleratorsGenerate workloads and analyse simulation results to drive architectural improvementsBuild and maintain critical simulation infrastructureWork closely with architecture, hardware and compiler engineers to shape future productsWhat You'll BringSoftware engineering experience in computer architecture, semiconductors, systems or EDAStrong C++ and Python development skillsExperience developing processor simulators or architectural performance modelsSolid understanding of modern computer architecture and microarchitectureComfortable taking ownership in a fast-moving startup environmentNice to HaveExperience with AI accelerators, GPUs or heterogeneous computingFamiliarity with gem5 or similar simulation frameworksBackground in compiler technology or hardware-software co-design
