This position is responsible for accurate data entry, administrative support, and general office duties related to utility billing operations. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment.Essential Duties & Responsibilities Perform accurate and timely data entry related to customer billing, payments, and account informationAssist with utility billing processes, including account setup, adjustments, and verificationsReview, verify, and correct billing data to ensure accuracy and complianceMaintain and update electronic and paper records in accordance with department proceduresHandle general office duties such as filing, scanning, copying, and document preparationRespond to internal inquiries and support billing department staff as neededFollow established policies, procedures, and confidentiality guidelinesPerform additional clerical or administrative tasks as assignedQualifications High school diploma or GED requiredPrevious data entry, billing, or office administrative experience preferredStrong attention to detail and accuracyBasic to intermediate computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)Ability to type efficiently and accuratelyStrong organizational and time-management skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamProfessional communication skills (written and verbal)Work Environment Office-based settingFast-paced billing departmentRegular business hours with no evenings or weekendsPay & Schedule Pay Rate: $15.98/hourSchedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM 4:30 PMEqual Opportunity Employer Abacus Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or any other protected status.
