Job Title: SAFETY, ENVIRONMENTAL & ADMIN COORDINATORPosting Start Date: 3/27/26Job Description:POSITION PURPOSEThis position is located at our Montana Limestone Company location in Bridger, MT.Supports daily operations at the facility by coordinating safety and environmental compliance activities, coordinating administrative processes, and ensuring efficient site operations. Provides safety, environmental, and contracting/purchasing coordination to maintain compliance, organization, and continuity across Montana Limestone Company (MLC).ESSENTIAL DUTIESGenerate and route purchase requisitions, contract requisitions, and contract change requisitions for approval, track orders, and coordinate with vendors and cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of goods and services. Maintain accurate contracting and purchasing records and support budget tracking as needed.Generate, implement, and maintain safety and environmental programs to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.Maintain required documentation, lead inspections and audits, and track corrective actions and follow-ups.Coordinate safety and environmental training, maintain training records, and ensure employees meet required compliance standards. Support onboarding and ongoing training efforts as needed.Compile and maintain reports related to safety, environmental, and contracting/purchasing activities.Ensure data is accurate, timely, and audit ready.Partner with leadership and teams to support a variety of safety and environmental initiatives.Provide general administrative support across functions as needed to meet MLC priorities.Perform other duties as assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSAssociate's degree in safety, an environmental science, business administration or a related field; and 2 years of related work experience; orHigh school diploma or equivalent (GED or HSED); and 4 years of related work experienceA valid driver's license.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSFamiliarity with Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) standards for surface metal and non-metal mines.Familiarity with Montana Department of Environmental Quality requirements for miningExposure to safety programs, compliance documentation, or training recordkeepingExperience with generating and tracking contracts and purchase ordersExperience with tracking invoices and inventory using spreadsheets or ERP systems PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDSThis position requires the ability to remain in a stationary position and to move about the office building, occasional reaching below and above shoulder level, constant use of keyboard/computer and other productivity machinery, bending, kneeling, lifting/carrying up to 10 pounds, and pushing/pulling up to 20 pounds. It also requires finger dexterity and hand coordination. This position is occasionally exposed to extreme heat, cold, dirt/dust, chemicals, fumes, poor ventilation, vibration, electrical risks, and noise. Some tasks may require work in confined spaces.
