Adecco is hiring for Material Handlers for a manufacturer in Peabody! These are temp to perm opportunities.1st shift schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-330pm2nd shift schedule: Monday-Thursday 230pm-1amPay rate: 1st shift - $24-25 per hour, 2nd shift - $26-27 per hourKey ResponsibilitiesInventory Management: Identify, label, and track the physical location of materials, completing regular cycle counts and updating inventory software.Loading & Unloading: Receive incoming shipments, inspect them for damages, and unload materials using manual labor or heavy machinery.Order Fulfillment: Pull and verify materials listed on production or shipping orders, then pack, crate, and secure the items for transport.Material Transport: Operate equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) to relocate products, supplies, and parts across warehouses, docks, or assembly lines.Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-use inspections on material-handling equipment and report malfunctions or complete minor operator repairs.Compliance: Maintain a clean work environment while strictly adhering to workplace safety regulations (e.g., OSHA standards).Core RequirementsPhysical Stamina: The ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and frequently bend, stoop, and walk.Basic Tech Skills: Familiarity with Electronic Resource Planning (ERP) software, warehouse scanners, and computerized logging is highly valued.
