Sales Administrative Assistant

If you're hardworking, eager to learn, and ready to thrive in a fast-paced, team-driven environment—we want to hear from you!Purpose:Performs administrative support duties, primarily for the sales department, while also supporting other departments at the dealership location.Responsibilities:Receive visitors and ensure they are directed to the proper parties within the dealership.Process Customer Advance Deposits (CADs) for sales team as requested.Contact customers to arrange service agreements and schedule deliveries.Coordinate with vendors with to schedule work for the dealership location.Maintain familiarity with the appropriate TRULAND Equipment resource to effectively direct customer or team member inquiries.Route customer complaints to the appropriate department with a focus on customer satisfaction and customer retention.Accurately and timely process daily cash balancing for the location and making deposits at the appropriate financial institution.Assist location sales staff with equipment transfers.Draft and produce standard correspondence, letters, and memoranda; prepare documents for distribution.Provide administrative support to the location sales, parts, and service departments at the location.Distribute mail and maintain dealership files.Order office supplies and run local errands as needed.Control and maintain proper paper flow in the administrative area.Maintain a neat, clean, and professional administrative workspace.Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service.Other appropriate responsibilities as assigned by the manager.Experience, Education, Skills, and Knowledge: High school diploma or equivalent requiredSolid clerical expertiseGeneral accounting knowledgeExcellent customer service skillsExperience with Equip and other dealer business systems is a plusStrong people and communication skillsAbility to use standard desktop applications such as Microsoft OfficeDetail-oriented, professional attitude, and reliableAbility to multi-taskAbility to operate basic office equipmentWillingness and ability to work weekends as scheduledValid driver's license requiredDriving record that meets Employer's insurance company requirementsComprehensive benefit package for full-time team members includes:Competitive bi-weekly wagesHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) plan with company contributionsFlexible Spending Account (FSA) & Health Savings Account (HSA)Paid Time Off (PTO) and Paid HolidaysCompany-paid short-term disability Life InsuranceTeam member discountsAccess to additional voluntary insurance plansEmployee Assistance Program (AEP)Company-provided uniformsAbout TRULAND EquipmentTRULAND Equipment is a John Deere dealer with 18 locations in Indiana and Ohio that supplies and services a wide range of new and used equipment for residential, commercial and agricultural applications.
