Training Coordinator
The Training Coordinator II supports the planning, coordination, delivery, and administration of companywide learning programs for a commercial roofing organization with approximately 3,000 employees. This mid-level position works closely with Learning and Development, Human Resources, Operations, and subject matter experts to provide consistent and accessible training across multiple locations.The Training Coordinator II coordinates instructor-led, virtual, field-based, and online learning activities for office employees, field employees, supervisors, and leaders. This position also maintains training records, manages course logistics, supports the company’s learning environment(Zoom meetings; LG Create Boards in room), managing company resources (monitors, keyboards) in training rooms to make sure everything is working for classes taught in-person, prepares training reports, and helps ensure programs meet business and workforce-development needs.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesTraining CoordinationCoordinate companywide and local training programs, including scheduling, enrollment, communications, manager approvals for employees, facilities, technology in training rooms, furniture, monitors and workstation equipment, class content and handouts, catered meals, travel, and instructor support.Manage multiple training calendars and help prevent scheduling conflicts across departments and locations.Coordinate Leadership development program, job specific functional training, and professional-development programs.Serve as on-site support and primary point of contact for T& D team, employees, managers, instructors, and vendors regarding training schedules, requirements, and resources.Monitor registrations, attendance, cancellations, waitlists, prerequisites, and course-completion requirements.Support virtual and hybrid learning sessions by managing invitations, technology, breakout rooms, attendance, and participant materials.Coordinate training for employees working across multiple shifts, branches, project sites, and geographic regions.Arrange training facilities that support appropriate, accessibility, and technology requirements.Training Records and ManagementAssign required training based on job role, department, location, or regulatory requirements.Manually track in MS Excel workbook all training completion, certifications, licenses, renewal dates, and other required employee qualifications.Research and correct incomplete, inaccurate, or duplicate training records.• Produce recurring reports and dashboards for Learning and Development, Human Resources, Operations, and company leadership.Support audits by retrieving accurate training records and documentation.• Maintain employee training information in accordance with company record-retention and confidentiality requirements.Assist T& D manager, employees and managers with training records.Program and Facilitation SupportPrepare facilitator guides, participant workbooks, presentations, job aids, rosters, evaluations, certificates, and classroom supplies.• Facilitate selected orientation sessions, system demonstrations, professional-skills courses, and other assigned programs.• Provide classroom and administrative support to internal instructors and subject matter experts.• Help subject matter experts organize technical information into clear and practical learning materials.• Review training materials for accuracy, consistency, branding, readability, and suitability for the intended audience.• Coordinate translation or bilingual training support when needed for the workforce.• Assist with pilot programs and collect feedback beforeTalentMatch®Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
