Medical Director - Psychiatry

Job Title:Medical Director – Behavioral Health Location:Fully Remote (U.S. – approved states only)This is a Contract to hire role. Conversion usually after 3-6 months. Full benefits package after conversion.You would start on a W2 hourly rate of $137–145/hr., and upon conversion, move into a permanent salaried position with full benefits (health, PTO, etc.). Please see eligible states below.What You’ll Be Doing Provideclinical oversightfor behavioral health programs and medical management activities Act as asenior clinical advisorto internal teams and leadership Supportmedical necessity reviews and peer-to-peer consultations Collaborate with leadership acrossutilization, quality, case, and disease management Guideclinical best practices, policy development, and care integration initiatives Participate incommittees, reviews, and strategic clinical initiatives Mentor and support clinical staff across the organizationWhat We’re Looking For MD (Doctor of Medicine)required Board Certified in Psychiatry Active, unrestricted U.S. medical license 5+ years clinical practice + 5+ years medical management experienceStrong background in: Utilization Management (UM) Quality Management (QM) Case Management (CM) Managed Care environments Experience working inregulated healthcare / government environmentsis a strong assetAdditional Requirements Must be aU.S. Citizen Must beeligible for DoD security clearance Must be able topass background and drug screeningMust have: Hard-wired internet (no Wi-Fi/satellite) Dedicated home officeRemote Eligibility This role isfully remote within the following U.S. states only : AK, AR, AZ, CO, FL, HI, IA, ID, IL, KS, LA, MD, MN, MO, MT, NE, NV, NM, NC, ND, OK, OR, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA/DC, WA, WI, WY
