Reproductive Program Senior TechnicianGENEX Cooperative is seeking a Reproductive Program Senior Technician in Sawyer and Rusk County WI to provide professional and personalized Artificial Insemination service and breeding program assistance to members and customers that result in improved profit potential and satisfaction for them. In addition, sell GENEX semen, services, products, and programs to achieve sales goals and develop new business in sales area.This position is 99% dairy emphasis and 1% beef emphasis.Major Areas of AccountabilityProvide Artificial Insemination (AI) services to members and customersProvide Breeding Program assistance to members and customersSell GENEX AI services, semen, products and programsProvide reproductive management expertise to members that will improve reproductive performance in their herdsConsistently make farm visits with prospects to develop and gain new customersQualificationsStrong dairy background with experience working with dairy cowsDegree in Agriculture or equivalent experience is preferredExperience in heat detection on large farmsAggressive sales and service person who is self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a teamMust possess communication and people skillsWillingness to learn and develop both personally and professionallyComputer skills are required; and ability to work with herd management software is a plus
