3rd shift Sanitor

What You’ll DoThis position is responsible for complete sanitation activities to ensure that a master cleaning list of miscellaneous plant functions is completed according to a schedule set by the Sanitation Department. A checklist of these functions is available for reference on a weekly basis. Effectively clean manufacturing equipment based on MSS utilizing SSOPs:Fryer and surrounding areaMW roomEquilibrium and Exchange roomsPack area including proportionersCuttersFreezers inside and outBatter and breader equipmentUtensilsTotes and waste receptaclesDrainsOutside areaClean Overheads/Water Hoses/Ladders/Fire Extinguishers/Other MiscellaneousTanker, refuse and waste dockAble to operate scissor lifts and forklifts after certificationWork at heightsWaste is collected and disposed of properlyPerform other duties as assignedWhat You’ll NeedComplete chemical handling and safety training.Demonstrate the ability to follow Gorton’s SSOP’s.Effective verbal and written communication skills in EnglishDemonstrates sound judgment in decision making.Demonstrate proper use of Lockout/Tagout procedures as it applies to the equipment you are cleaningAbility to engage and collaborate positively with all levels and departments.Understanding standards and measurements.Math and computer skills.Reliable and consistent attendance.Ability to safely operate material handling equipment (after a training period) – if required by your roleLift up to 60 poundsStand for long periods of time up to 10 hoursAbide by company GMP and PPE policiesWho We AreSince 1849, America has trusted the Gorton’s Fisherman.
