What You Will Be Doing
Search & Clearance: Conducting comprehensive trademark searches and clearance using the USPTO database.
Filings & Prosecution: Preparing and filing trademark applications and managing the prosecution lifecycle, including responding to office actions.
Portfolio Management: Managing diverse client dockets accurately using the CPI system.
International Coordination: Coordinating with foreign counsel on international trademark filings and global portfolio maintenance.
Client Liaison: Communicating directly with clients to provide updates and manage their trademark matters.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a dedicated Trademark Paralegal within a law firm environment .
Proficiency with the USPTO trademark database and hands-on experience with the CPI docketing system .
Superior written communication skills; you should be comfortable drafting high-level client-facing correspondence.
Relevant paralegal certification or equivalent professional experience.
Ability to work on a hybrid basis from the New York, NY office.
