Cook / Part time

We are 25 bed rest home seeking a part time cook. Right Candidate will enjoy working with seniors. Must be able to week Sundays. Will discuss during interview. Duties Prepare and cook meals according to established menus. Plan and consider dietary restrictions Ensure all food handling practices comply with health and safety regulations Maintain cleanliness and organization within the kitchen area Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional food service experiences Participate in catering events as needed, ensuring high-quality service Requirements Previous experience in a dietary department or as a dietary aide is preferred Proficient in food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food handling practices Experience in restaurant or kitchen environments is essential Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations is required Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment Serv Safe Certification is a plus** Job Type: Part-time Job Types: Part-time, Per diem Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour Expected hours: 8.0 – 32.0 per week Benefits: Flexible schedule Paid time off Work Location: In person
