Compensation Analyst
The Sr. Compensation Consultant plans, manages and performs analysis related to large/complex compensation projects. Works directly with leaders and HRBP's to evaluate needs, create effective project plans and timelines, recommend and implement solutions. Assists in the designs and development of new compensation structures and programs and maintains and updates existing programs.Responsibilities:Works directly with leaders and People Strategy Partners, independently or with other Compensation team members to evaluate needs, recommend and implement solutions for compensation and performance programs, job structure projects, and other pay and performance related projectsAssists in the designs and development of new compensation structures and programs for the institute and maintains and updates existing programsDevelops effective project plans, identifying key deliverables and implementing solutions based on pre-determined timelines. Assures key deliverables and deadlines are metPrepares meeting materials and presentations. Assures equipment, meeting agendas, meeting rooms or teleconference ability is available and enabled prior to meetings. Presents or co-presents materialWorks with other HR team members to finalize and implement new pay programs and assure data, systems, and communications aspects are completed successfully. Follows up on effectiveness of compensation projects with People Strategy PartnersPerform job and market analysis, as well as collects market intelligence to build effective pay modelsDevelops effective communication documents and training toolsDevelops effective job documentation and job family structuresKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: Strong knowledge of compensation principlesAbility to evaluate business needs, interpret role requirements, position scope and responsibilities and develop accurate job documentation and career laddersExcellent verbal and written communication skills, and exceptional research, analytical, evaluation, and customer service skillKnowledge of Compensation related regulations (e.g. FLSA, Massachusetts Pay Equity Act)Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and database skills including the development of complex spreadsheets and presentations, and experience preparing, documenting and presenting narrative reports and statistical analysesQUALIFICATIONS:-Bachelor's degree, preferably in HR, Business, or a related field. -8+ years of compensation experience, including planning and managing large or complex compensation projects. -Pay range is $45-50/hr. #AFHR
