Job Summary The Accounting Manager, Integrations role will report directly to the Director of Accounting and partner with the Finance Business Partners, as well as the IPG Mergers & Acquisitions Integration teams. Leading a small team, this role will be critical in the successful launch of new businesses into the Local Solutions organization, as well as overseeing special projects throughout the business unit. Job Location This position can be remote based near one of our facilities in the United States. Job Responsibilities Manage, review, and participate in business level finance due diligence process. Upon site commissioning, lead and / or execute all business level finance aspects. Day one activities including, but not limited to AR, AP, asset evaluation, balance sheet review, financial system review and access restrictions. Integrate finance team with existing finance team and establish processes and procedures. Coordinate and oversee day‑one physical inventory process to ensure compliance. Complete finance M&A playbook tasks and compliance checklist. Process all month‑end tasks including trial balance load and statistic load to ensure financial performance can be measured. Play a key role in ERP Integration. Collaborate with key stakeholders to track synergies and drive business improvements. Prepare and present financial report out for Monthly Business Review and SteerCo meetings. Continue to support new teams in the first few months of integration as questions arise. Provide project level financial details to central management related to business synergies. Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for most general applications of SAP S/4 Hana within the manufacturing finance and support applications. Be available to provide support, troubleshoot, and answer questions team members within manufacturing finance may have on SAP S/4 Hana. When not involved in M&A activities, partner with the Accounting Manager, Center of Excellence (COE) to identify best practices and simplify, standardize, and centralize these best practices across the organization. Act as a key team member and leader for network‑wide special projects that impact the full Local Solutions or IPG business units. Lead, coach, develop and mentor a small team (1‑2) of support staff. Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. Advanced Degrees, CMA, CPA a plus; relevant work experience could be considered in lieu of a degree for the right candidate. 5+ years of manufacturing finance and/or cost accounting experience required. Subject Matter Expert in ERP System for manufacturing finance roles, SAP S/4 Hana preferred. Prior experience providing hands‑on training. Advanced MS Office. Travel – 50% or more may be required. Prior experience in team leadership preferred. Have a continuous improvement mindset, being able to identify process gaps and inefficiencies and take the lead to work with others to define and implement best practices within a network. Results‑oriented to ensure delivery of appropriate products and services in accurate, complete, and timely fashion. Ability to act independently as a subject matter expert with limited supervision. Ability to implement ideas across a multi‑plant environment. Ability to influence others without a direct reporting relationship. Compensation Yearly Target Salary is $125,000.00 to $140,000.00.
