Java Software Engineer

**Job Title:** Java Backend Developer (AWS)**Location:** Wilmington, DE (Onsite)**Experience:** 5+ YearsContract: 12 - 36 months**Job Summary:**We are seeking a skilled Java Backend Developer with hands-on experience in AWS to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building scalable backend systems, developing microservices, and working on cloud-based architectures.**Key Responsibilities:*** Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java* Build and deploy scalable applications using AWS services* Develop RESTful APIs and microservices-based architecture* Collaborate with cross-functional teams (frontend, DevOps, QA)* Optimize application performance and ensure high availability* Participate in code reviews and follow best coding practices**Required Skills:*** Strong experience in Java and backend development* Hands-on experience with Spring / Spring Boot* Experience with AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, etc.)* Good understanding of Microservices architecture* Experience in building REST APIs* Knowledge of SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle)**Good to Have:*** Experience with Docker / Kubernetes* Familiarity with Kafka or messaging systems* CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions**Qualifications:*** Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field* 3+ years of relevant experience in backend development**Work Setup:**Onsite
