Warehouse Worker

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks related to the efficient operation of our warehouse, including inventory management, shipping and receiving, and order picking. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse management systems and mechanical knowledge to ensure smooth operations. Duties Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and manage stock. Perform shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring accurate documentation and timely processing of goods. Utilize forklifts and reach trucks for the safe movement of materials within the warehouse. Assist in order picking, ensuring that products are accurately selected and prepared for shipment. Collaborate with the warehouse supervisor to maintain an organized and efficient workspace. Fabricate or build items as needed for inventory or shipping purposes. Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure accuracy in stock levels. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols. Qualifications Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not required. Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus. Mechanical knowledge is beneficial for troubleshooting equipment as needed. Experience with shipping and receiving processes is advantageous. Ability to operate forklifts and reach trucks safely; certification may be required. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in order picking and inventory management. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Must have physical stamina to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods.
