ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Greets customers with a positive and friendly attitude Enters orders into POS system, uses suggestive selling of food products to customers, receives payment (cash and credit card), makes change and maintains cash drawer Presents orders to guests and ensures accuracy of order Assists with ordering filling as needed Reads monitor to identify products that need to be prepared Notifies cook of special orders, shortages and needs Other general duties include: food preparation, stocking of supplies, cleaning of dining room tables and restrooms, sweeping, mopping, discarding of trash and filling ice bins Sets up workstations with all needed ingredients and equipment as needed Communicates with customers, team members and managers in a positive and professional manner Maintains cleanliness on the service counter and order presentation counter Maintains cleanliness, organization, and rotation of the display cooler Observes health and sanitation guidelines and follows established procedures to meet high standards of cleanliness, health & safety protocols. Maintains a clean and sanitary workstation and takes ownership of area Looks for opportunities to assist fellow team members in an enthusiastic manner Other duties as assigned Must be willing to work variable schedules.
